A misty night, with howling coyotes in the valley.

I walked up the hill last night at about 9:00, and watched the mist thicken in Praag Valley. By 10:00 it was starting to seep into Center Valley. It cleared up a bit during the night, but this morning I couldn’t see past the garage into 3 Finger Valley, and the sun was dazzling on the mist.

The coyotes have been howling this weekend, for the first time in a while. We heard them on Saturday night, again on Sunday in the late afternoon – at about 6:00, when it was still light – and then twice last night. I would love to know how many animals are making those sounds.
