Talks

These are recordings of some of the talks we’ve given.

Restoring Native Habitat on an Old Wisconsin Farm – given on Zoom for Zumbro Valley Audubon on April 27, 2021.

Virtual tour of the farm given to the Landscape Class at Chippewa Valley Technical College, September 24, 2020 on Zoom.

Butterflies and Moths – given at Merrick State Park, Buffalo County, Wisconsin on August 10, 2019.
(This may take a little while to load especially if you have a slower internet connection – be patient.)

Restoring Driftless Area Habitat – given at our college reunion at Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa on June 3, 2018.

Moths in the Prairie – given to the St. Croix Valley chapter of The Prairie Enthusiasts in River Falls, Wisconsin on February 3, 2018
[One correction in this video.  The adult moth I identified as an Indigo Stem Borer (Papaipema baptisiae) is actually an even rarer moth, a Hop Stalk Borer (Papaipema circumlucens).  Their appearance is very similar.]
