An interesting new plant showed up in the prairie this year.
7/19/2009 Rattlesnake Master – it’s native in southern Wisconsin, but is frequently planted farther north than its natural range. I think this must have come from a stray seed in some of the other seeds I bought. It has green spiky flowers and spiky leaves that look like Yucca.
8/9/2009 The prairie was great this year – lots of diversity and lots of flowers
