The biggest project we did here this year was on the Knife Edge Prairie. I cut and treated all the aspen sprouts I could find. I worked especially hard on the north end of the open area. In that area I also cut and treated the gray dogwood and sumac. (All were treated with 10% milestone in bark oil.) After treating all 3 species in the northern 1/3 of the prairie, Mike mowed to reduce the amount of duff.
I also planted some seeds on the sandy point: Dotted Blazing Star, Dwarf Blazing Star, Downy Painted Cup, Cliff Goldenrod.
