6/16/2007 An especially thick stand of Wild Parsnip. The white flowers in the background are Cow Parsnip – a native plant that’s much more well behaved.
6/28/2007 Mike mowing Parsnip Meadow again. It’s more effective to pull or cut parsnip by hand, but this area will have to wait until I have the parsnip under control in the rest of the wetland. There’s much too much to pull it all by hand right now.
