This is another year when I only seem to have one photo.  The Joe Pye Weed and Wild Cucumber Vine in the foreground are part of the sedge meadow below the prairie.  This sedge meadow has some patches of Reed Canary grass, especially at the  lower end near the creek, and some invading Wild Parsnip.  For the last few summers I’ve been pulling Wild Parsnip out of both the sedge meadow and the lower wet part of Pine Point Prairie – but for some reason I never think to take photos of that.
