Acrobasis indigenella – Leaf Crumpler

Caterpillar foods: apple, cherry, cotoneaster, crabapple, hawthorn, peach, pear, plum, pyracantha, and quince (Bugguide)

Bugguide has some interesting information on the life cycle of this moth.  The larvae construct tubes attached to the twigs of host plants.  The tubes are made of silk and leaf fragments.  They can become 30 to 40 mm long as the larvae grow.
