Azures are a complicated group of butterflies: closely related, with similar markings, and adjacent flight times.  There’s great debate among scientists about how many species there are, and how they should be differentiated.  Here’s the page on Bugguide which describes some of the issues.

Spring Azures are the earliest of the species we see here.  They fly beginning in March or April.
