Caterpillar foods: Impatiens.  (Bugguide)     Fireweed, pine, fir, meadow rue  (HOSTS)

A small day flying moth – fairly common here.  When it flies, the movement of the stripes on its wings make it almost glitter.  I don’t often see it at my lights.
