Caterpillar foods: many plants – often composite flowers but also many other flowering plants, shrubs and trees  (Bugguide)

The caterpillars decorate their bodies with pieces of plants – usually flower petals – for camouflage.  The caterpillars are very small – about 1/4″ long.

Males have pectinate antennae, females have simple antennae.
