Family Lamiaceae

Plants can have either white or pink flowers.  There are two subspecies that are sometimes considered separate species – thus our species is either Galeopsis tetrahit var. bifida or Galeopsis bifida.  (Minnesota Wildflowers)

These are becoming a problem invasive in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

So far I haven’t seen any with flowers, and I’ve only found them in the woods on Maple Ridge.
