These are butterfly caterpillars that I’ve found and been able to identify. I’ve tried to rear most of them, so I could confirm the ID by seeing the adult. Some didn’t survive my rearing, so the IDs are based on information and observations from other resources – primarily David Wagner’s book on caterpillars (Caterpillars of Eastern North America), and Bugguide.net.
