We mowed one small area for Canada Goldenrod in mid-June and I broadcast seeds of Wood Betony.
This prairie had more than the usual amount of Indian Grass this year. We tried an experiment in two spots. We mowed them after the first frost – in early October. We’d heard that can sometimes discourage some of the tall grasses.
