The main work we did on this prairie was mowing for aspen sprouts again, late in the summer. Every year there are fewer sprouts, and they’re shorter, but they don’t go away.

6/11/2017 Blister Beetles arrived to eat the flowers and seeds of White Wild Indigo. They weren’t as destructive as they have been in the last few years – they didn’t eat every flower on every plant.
