For a while this spring, we had a beautiful beaver lake near our driveway.  It attracted lots of wildlife, but it overflowed and washed out our driveway whenever it rained.  So we – mostly Mike – spent days working to take out the dam (the beavers would build it back every night), to release the water from the lake.   Eventually the beavers got the message and moved downstream.  Taking out a dam is a fun project for a hot sunny afternoon.
