8/4/2014 Planted wet prairie. I pull Wild Parsnip from this area every year. It used to be so thick that we had to mow it, but every year there are fewer plants, and it gets easier to get them all.

8/6/2014 This area was invaded by Bird’s Foot Trefoil, and I’ve tried various ways to control it. Some were not so successful, and led to this growth of Queen Anne’s Lace.

8/6/2014 Mike weed-wacked the thickest part so that I can find the Bird’s Foot Trefoil plants – hopefully they’ll be easier to eliminate if I can locate them.
