7/12/2015  There was lots of Michigan Lily in the wet part of the prairie this year.

7/14/2015   This is the second time I’ve found Rattlesnake Master growing in one of the planted prairies.   I think the seeds must have come in with other seed I purchased.  Rattlesnake Master is a wonderful plant, but it doesn’t normally grow this far north.  It grows naturally in the southern two tiers of Wisconsin counties.

8/21/2015  The mowing is finished.  Now we need to wait until the plants green up again, and then we’ll have it sprayed.

10/19/2015  Now the plants have turned brown, and I’ve staked the field.  Once we get a little snow, I’ll start planting.
