6/5/2005 Mike mowed a path so we could walk along the top of the field, right along the edge of the woods. It turned out to be difficult to walk there – very tilty, so we never mowed that path again.

8/24/2005 The dominant grass right now is Indian Grass. The prairie forbs are still there, but some of the most troublesome plants, like Canada Goldenrod, are shorter and less vigorous.
