I haven’t seen the owl since Tuesday afternoon – I’m hoping it’s still around somewhere – it’s been such a nice addition to the neighborhood.
I looked for it both yesterday and today – long walks each day in the areas where it had previously been seen – but it just doesn’t seem to be there. It may have moved farther into the neighborhood – Mary Maguire Lerman called to tell me that it was seen on Monday just north of College Park (in the alley north of Doswell, between Chelmsford and Hythe) – that’s farther south than anyone had reported it before. And I saw it on Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Hoyt and Grantham.
