The owl is still around – it flew into our yard this morning for a brief visit. I never expected to have a Great Grey Owl on my “yard list”! Then it moved on to the wooded area between the houses just to the south of our house.
I stopped to tell Dick Phillips about it, and he grabbed his video camera. It posed for several photos and lots of video.

The crows and the bluejays were harrasing it – it watches the crows with its flat face turned straight up.
